Sob studios

Pig Melon includes Sob studios – home to several artists, musicians, writers, designers, researchers, and makers. Sob aims to provide an environment for emerging and mid-career practitioners that encourages the exploration and exchange of ideas, knowledge, skill, and friendship.

Our studios were first established in 2021 as Studios on Bulwer (S.o.B.) at 150 Bulwer Street. Founding members were Liz Smith, Nicole Marrington, Luisa Hansal, and Leigh Craft. In 2023, Sob moved next door to Pig Melon.

Sob closed its doors in April 2024 and is no longer in operation - sorry!
