SCA lecture – Those who have a go, get a go
From Mark Jennings
Since Scott Morrison became Prime Minister in 2018, discussion of his Pentecostalism has become somewhat of a commonplace in both mainstream media and social media. However, much commentary on Morrison’s religious beliefs, and the connections between these beliefs and his political views, have been vague and misleading—typically resulting from a poor understanding of Pentecostal faith.
This lecture will provide a clear understanding of Morrison’s Pentecostalism, and serve as a provocation to take seriously the links between the Prime Minister’s faith and politics.
